I'm guessing some confliction to a weak juptier and /or the 9th...I say that because from what I know most suicide bombers are manipulated via their religion...I can think of a few other possible combinations but what do you think?

Hello Everyone, So glad to have found something useful online this time..
Me and my Husband have been trying for a child since April but no success. I myself had some interest in basic concepts of Jyotish but have no depth to undestand the predictions.

MY DOB Sept 1st 1982, Surat India 10:10 am
My Lagna Chart with Tula Lagna and Jupiter and Mars in first house in Lagna and Moon in 4th in Capricorn. My fear is L5 Saturn placed with Mercury in 12th house in Virgo. Some online articles say that L5 with neutral Mercury is not so good fro progeny????
Sun in Leo in 11th and Rahu in 9th in Gemini.
I also tried to go through Saptamsa Chart but i could not get it online.

My husband ( DOB Feb 5th 1982 Nagda, Madhya Pradesh, 00:05 am) has same Lagna and Jupiter in First house too. His Saturn is also placed in 12th but with Mars in Virgo.

Any help in explaining the predictions would be appreciated?

Once had my chart read, and the astrologer seemed alarmed that i was born into my ketu phase which lasted till I was about 5 yrs of age. Ketu in in my first house.

I am curious to know what is significant about this. I know I am backtracking, and I know that I do not remember much from this time in my life, but I would like to know what are the indications for such a manifestation. The astrologer never elaborated.

what i noticed in my D20 Chart.
paka lagna(lagna in D20) is kanya and lagnadhipati mercury placed at lagna. jupiter placed at In 9th house. Atmakaraka(venus) placed at 12th IN D20.

general rule is "if Jupiter or the Sun is positioned in the 9th from the Paka lagna in D-20, then the native will be attracted to the intellectual pursuit of Vedanta philosophy".

I blessed with guru and lernt some vedanth in jupiter mahadasa which is going to finish by 2011.

what i want to know why somany obstacles to my sadhana recently. slowly my mind is also slipping away....but with GURUDEV's blessings are protecting me some extent i.e avoid complete downfall. could u find anything shall i realised in this birth??? otherwise how much i can grow ......

Debilated adn Retrograde

So I read months ago that when a planet is transiting through his exalted sign and retrograded, it behaves as if in debilated dignity.....well I was looking at some transits and I wondered the same reasoning applies to some people when it's the opposite?

I've never had it taught to me but does anyone here believe a planet in debilation and retrograde acts exalted like it's exalted? Personaly I don't think it does but what are your views? It's just that mars is in cancer and retrograde so I thought now was a good time to ask around.....

I am peeyush Kumar Chaturvedi, born on Wednesday, 02 March 1977, 17:13:00 at Ballia, (U.P.)India. Currently I am in the middle of Ketu Mahadasha. It was started from 10 December 2006. During this period I am facing a big financial problem, My more than 2 Lacs salary is due and don't get even sign from company side to get it soon. Earlier I was posted in Delhi and stay with my wife and baby but one and half year back my company transferred me to Allahabad as Branch Manager, but here I did not get my salary since approx 10 month. When I transferred to Allahabad, I started stay with my son and wife. but due to financial problem I sent them back to my home town and stay all alone like refusee. Due to this My complete family is suffering, My sister marriage was almost finalized but due to finance it did not not finalize.

Birth Time Correction

All curious contributors,

There are many methods available in astrology for birth time correction. We should explore all of them and see if the natatl chart is correct irresepective of Anayamsa used. The key goal of any astrologer should be to pin point the antardasa lord correctly for accurate timing. Anatardasa lord may vary depending upon the anayamsa, but the goal should be to time the event at any cost. Character analysis works very well irrespective of anayamsa used, however timing the event within a month is an art. Vedic astrology uses PranaPada lagna, Kunda, Mandi and lot more to fine tune a given chart. Divisional charts are tuned with PranaPada. KP also uses various techniques to fine tune a given chart. KAS is more time invariant than other systems of Vedic astrolgy, we can explore this as we make some progress.

I want to ask what happens if there are no planets in kendra except rahu and ketu..........will the life of that native will go without fame and authority??? My younger brother has no major planets in kendra and has only moon in trikona ( 5th house)..........while major of the planets are situated in 2nd, 11th and 12th house..........achieved nothing major in his life and because of ketu in lagna is always filled with self doubt and lack of self confidence...................

Success in India or abroad?

Bhuwan ji, would you be able to help me please once again?

Do I have good chances for career success abroad or in India? Will I be successful in business or own consulting?

I have been in UK for studies (Oct 07-08) and tried for almost one year for a perm job which I could not get one (Mar 08-Oct 08). I am sure it is pure bad luck I have been abroad exactly when recession hit the whole world. But even when I am in India I do not see many opportunities here. Now I am in a dilemma if I should settle here in India leaving any hope for gaining good international exposure or if I should go back to UK and try my luck one last time.

I have a return ticket for Dec 20th but I am not able to decide. Personally, I am all alone there except for a few friends and I know it is hard work taking up all odd jobs for survival but I am missing the place already. I do see an opportunity to start my own consulting if I stay back in India but I am not sure how my success will be in business.

I will be obliged for any input from learned astrologers.

I would like to sum up my problems below-

1.I am not able to communicate properly despite of the fact that I am knowing the subject/topic completely and not only just that ,I end up saying the completely opposite things (knowingly) and thus create unpleasent and disastrous situations for myself. Initially I was not aware of this phenomenon, but when then I noticed that this happens incessently on Wednesdays.Also, I have noticed that sepecially on Wednesdays I am bound to fail in all my ventures or whatever project I am on to. In the best scenario also (on Wednesdays) I would atleast utter something which would undo all my good efforts and make me regret! And believe me this is not superstition or coincidence, it's is true and definitely happens despite of all precautions! On the other hand , Tuesday is the best day for me since childhood.
Even otherwise also, I generally feel that I am not able to express myself adequately and I could have done much better.

2. Despite of all my efforts I am not able to get rid of my loans / debts since past 10 yrs! Although I had been working at top positions in various MNCs, and regarded as one of the most able,efficient and knowledgeable persons, I am not able to retain the jobs and its like KING today and PAUPER tomorrow. I have been out of jobs also many a times! And all this has added to my woes and debts!

My sincere request to you all is to please let me know astrological remedies if any. People have advised Emerald etc and have also told that most of my planets are 'Supt'(sleeping) or are in neech rashis, especially Mercury and Sun. They also tell me that my Mercury is totally combust and that along with Ketu in the 2nd house cause my speech problems and debt problems. Is it true? My present Mahadasha is of Mangal and my Anterdasha of Venus just started. I would like to highlight that my Worst period started with the onset of Mars mahadasha.

3. Also , please tell me whether my Rahu Mahadasha is going to be bad or good?

I had my Vedic Chart down and was totally blown away with its accuracy... I was told to get a Green Tourmaline and wear it as a pendant, as I can't afford emerald... Regarding Career prospects and problems

Dear Expert members,

Here are my birth details:
DOB: Sep. 16, 1972
Time: 12:46 PM (I was born on cusp)
Place: Kanpur, UP, India

I have been teaching at a university in USA since 2005 and before that I was doing graduate studies. No matter what I do it seems the outcome in terms of progress in career remain stagnant or non existent. Recently I am under lot of pressure from superiors regarding more research and getting grants at the expense of teaching students effectively. This has created a rift between me and my superiors.

I was wondering if anyone of you would be kind enough to give me some guidance as to what lies ahead for my career or will I land myself into trouble because of my opposition to the policies. Is there a change of job or trouble in career?

I was born on cusp (sandhi) so my ascendant etc. changes even by a matter of 3-4 minutes. The time I have written is based on what I have been told by my parents.

If need be I can provide details about other aspects of my life so that you may be able to get a accurate chart. Some highlights are as follows: married very early in life (but without any marital bliss), no kids, haven't been able to see my parents for almost 10 years.

Hello All,

Can someone please analyze my horoscope for career prospects. I am finding difficulty in job finding since Aug'2009. I am constantly trying hard. Is Ketu Mahadasha is problematic to me though someone told me that Ketu is in own Nakshtra. One things I would like to mention here fist job I got was a Govt Job in 1994 that was under ME/KE and also I changed my career line last year with the start of Ketu Mahadasha in Aug2008. In Aug'2009 I left that job due to some reason with my Boss and facing problem now in finding new job since then. These days I received 4 interview call but unfortunately all the time just before interview date...by some reason interview date got extended by the employer again and again several times and lastly no response. It appears now they will now not call me again. Even I tried for higher study but that also failed. I dont know what to do now. So could you please tell me when I will get new job.

Lost job in unsual circumstances and mental tension.

I have lost my job in June 2009 in quite usual circumstances, I'm still trying to figure how. My boss who used to be pretty strong advocate of my work all of sudden lost temper and literally forced me to resign. I'm not sure if it was because of this job thing but mentally I'm quite disturbed as well.

My question- am I going to get a new job anytime soon and is it going to be better or on par with my previous job ? Two questions - Rahu/Papakathri yog and Sade sati...

Dear friends,

I am still a novice and am so enjoying learning from this tribe!!! I have two questions related to my chart:

1) I have papakathri (sp) yoga - since my ascendant is btwn both Saturn in the 2nd and rahu in the 12th...
I have been told that I must stay away from doing business with anything representing Rahu (or that which Rahu rules) since it is in a dustana house and will ultimately be a loss for me financially. Is that true or are there other aspects that can negate or even change this for me?? I am now in my Jupiter/Rahu period, so will that add to the loss or can it help it??? What can we do to help alleviate this???

2) I also have started Sade Sat (I think it started for me this summer) and am feeling full of confusion and unclarity as to what direction to go in life... lately these days it is even hard for me to make very simple decisions and i feel full of doubt when i finally do decide...
I am at the end of my Jupiter dasha and soon to start saturn dasha in 2009 October... Is this a good time to just do nothing and wait until things become clear or shall I experiment with many things to find what i like... I guess I am afraid that what I will do now will set me up for my saturn period and I do not trust myself to be clear at the moment... Does Sade Sat make things even more confusing??? And since it will be in affect for almost 7 years - what themes does it bring up and what houses will it affect???

I hope these questions make sense as i am just a student and am learning jyotish to help make some sense of things...

ACCORDING TO VIMSOTTARI DASHA, THE MAHADASHA OF JUPITER IS STARTING ON 17-12-2009. and my jupiter is placed in sixth house alone. It is in mooltrikona position as it in placed in saggitarius.
in my NAVAMANSA CHART IT IS PLACED IN CANCER IN THE 7TH HOUSE TOGETHER WITH VENUS.

Need info on career and personal front

I need more information regarding my career and personal front.This is my second post in this section.

1)Weather i will be having a corporate job for the coming 10 to 15 years.
2) When i will be able to construct my own house and where will it be possible weather in Bangalore( as present i am living in a rented house in Banaglore) or at my native?
3) how many months i will go for onsite to foreign?

Desperately looking for your kind advice on my career front.

3 years back i did a great mistake in my career .

I was working with one of the good OEM's ,3 years back i changed from OEM to one of the service Industry .Because of recession lot of my colleagues got fired from the job.Even me counting my days in the present company.I need your kind guidance in this regard.

1) How will be future / career.
2) i am desperately looking for a job change but nothing is getting materialised( not even getting interview calls).
3) will i go to abroad may be short time visit in near future?

Kindly advice me how will be my future/career in the coming years weather i will be able to sustain in the IT industry?

starting of ketu dasha

time 9:05AM
place bangalore

according to raman ayanamsha ketu dasha would be starting next year during december 2010.
ketu is in aswini nakshatra and in 11th from lagna.
although it is in 10th in bhava chalit chart.
how do u think it would affect the native.
if ketu is in it's own nakshatra what do u think would be the state of this graha.
should we also consider the position of ketu in navamsha while considering the overall affect?
is there a vargottam state for ketu also?
in this case, the dispositor of ketu is mars which is vargottam.
so, what would be ur expert opinion on this chart?

Jupiter/Saturn Gochara and "Marriage" (or long-term relationship)

I am Scorpio rising, moon in Aquarius, navamsa in Aquarius currently running in Saturn/Sun bhukti.

My astrologist Chakrapani Ullal was shocked to find that I hadn't been in a relationship during the three years of my Saturn mahadasa Venus bhukti (as Saturn is in my 7th house natally and in navamsa and Venus rules my 7th house and is placed in the navamsa 9th in friendly Libra). Looking back, I attribute the lack of marriage to Saturn having been in Navamsa 7th (conjunct natal Saturn) most of the time.

I am wondering what my prospects would be next year seeing as Saturn is out of the 7th and in friendly Virgo (it was in unfriendly Leo) and Jupiter will be transiting both my natal moon and navamsa lagna.

I will be in Sun bhukti through the summer (Sun rules my navamsa 7th) but then I go into an unfriendly moon bhukti (moon is in 4th house of natal chart in unfriendly Saturn-ruled Aquarius).

Should I also apply my varshapal for total accuracy?

Hi,
I am New to this forum and I know next to nothing about vedic astrology but have a reasonable knowledge of western astrology. I have never been too impressed with western but recently, I recieved through junk mail, a letter telling me how they knew the past 5 years had been rough. Amazing! How did they know? They then told me something about Sade Sathi. I have looked up on the web and found out some basic stuff but would love someone with more knowledge to look at my chart and tell me a bit more about the 3rd phaseplease and if it is going to be as bad as the first two parts..Birth data. Liverpool, United kingdom(53N25. 2W55) 3 December 1958.Time09.19 am.
Forewarned is forarmed so any help would be appreciated as the past 5 years have been the worst of my life .Total chaos.problems with property,ripped off for a lot of money, unemployment,problems with son(Drugs etc) have been unable to move forwards in any way. Have to say that things do seem to be slightly better for the last few months so hopefully no more nasty shocks?
Also I hope to be able to sell my house and move back to my country of birth(England)within the next 4/5 years is there any way of seeing this in Vedic astrology?

Iam mechanical engineer by profession working in design field.what are the best possible career fields for me coz i have intrest in many fields like software,financial field, stocks.

My DOB: 02 sept 1979, 4:20 PM Trivandrum and mostly questions were related to marriage and separation.. I got the below answer.

About 1) - This is so happening... I am astonished to see the accuracy.........

Now I really need help in terms of divorce.
a) My when do u see our all court proceedings will be completed?
Also, as I have tried everything to save this marriage and not able to, so now I am hoping a new relation will come .
