Saturn in 12th house

Learned Astrologers,

I read in Lal-kitab that Saturn in 12th house is the best position for Saturn to be in (many houses, no enemies, very wealthy....). But many other articles contradict this. They say that 12th house Saturn creates a lot of enemies, will have no wealth because of over spending, will have bad health, will live in fear. What is the correct interpretation?

regards,
Kumar

Here we deal with Vedic-Astrology only,
Saturn : The native will be dull-headed and lose all his money. He will have squint eyes and a deformed limb, make many enemies, suffer losses in trade, be a pessimist and commits sins in secret.

    Lal-Kitab is different from Vedic-Astrology...

NT ramarao the greatest actor turned chief minister had Saturn in the 12 th house. when he passed through Saturn sub period in ketu dasa he came to power with in 9 months of establishing his party. rajesh khanna phenomenal success started in Rahu-Saturn.These are few examples only. I request not to bluntly copy what is written in astrology books.

        Thanks Indraji for clarifying.

I am trying to learn bits of astrology so may not sound coherent but in the natal chart that I am studying SA is 12th (scorpio). The next mahadasa is SA and was wondering how that would go. A friend of mine told me that it would be bad but another astrologer told me that it would be better than the current JU dasa. So curious to know more details.

The details are as follows, DOB: 20-Aug -1986, POB: Bangalore, TOB: 15:33 PM, Male.
        regards,
        Kumar

          Quoted by Bhuwan Ji

“SA in 12th is a good placement in general.”
“SA in 12 th is not bad for career, 8th house is worst for career.”

          Quoted

“Saturn in the 12th house makes the person remain awake in the late night hours. If it has fewer points, it also makes the person feel satisfied in what he is earning and s/he has more satisfaction in the job. He will work hard to achieve his goal. He will not compare his earnings with other people. If the same Saturn has more points, the person becomes more giddy or careless about money matters.”

I request members of forum not to bluntly draw a conclusion on planetary positions. This is in reference to views regarding Saturn in 8 and 12 house.I pity lords of 6 8 and 12 houses, and planets positioned in these houses for their attributed negativity.I have gone across Saturn in the 8 th house charts which bestowed stupendous success . Art of living ravi shankar has Saturn in 8th house of Scorpio who rose to supremacy during Saturn. Lata mangeshkar has Saturn in 8 th house. 2 girls which i know cracked CAT examination during 8 th Saturn. Martha stewards who has Saturn in 8 th attained golden midas touch by stocks during rahu-sat

I had taken information from this thread.

              jyotish.tribe.net/thread/38...7dbfdd7087

I agree that this is a general information but don't you think other factors in chart may also be responsible for SA in 8th house chart for stupendous success.

There is lot of subtlety involved. Other astrologers also please throw some light.

purple my point is those individuals whom i mentioned got positive results when they ran Saturn sub period .Leave out stupendous success, 2 of the individuals i mentioned are successful in their own capacity during Saturn

I am told I have saturn in 12th. I am neither dull headed nor have a deformed limb. Commiting sin in secret is out of question.

What the hell is going on here?? One person is giving advice to very good astrologers like he is some kinda pro, one person is purely taking just one placement and defending what he is not accordingly!

Come on guys stop this nonsense arrogance of stupid recommendations!

@Kumar, You asked about sole placement of saturn in the 12th, and learned Madhanji also responded about sole placement's general outcomes!
And one girl is telling it doesnt match her.

Astrology is not a simple game of yes or no!

For starters, Vedic Astrology considers houses, lordships, placements, aspects-afflictions, yogas, nakshatras, degrees, divisional charts, mahadasha-antardashas and transits before drawing ANY conclusion. Specific things happens when MD AD gets activated.
As far as studying of high profile personalities is considered there is much more to debate upon, ranging from errors in exact birth time and real birth date to differences of predictions given by top notch astrologers like KN Rao and others. To discuss such ppl we need to be highly expert in astrology with profound humbleness and zero arrogance!
@Indra, you dont need to request astrologers around here to not to bluntly draw conclusions etc. they are learned enough to be called astrologers!
Sa in 8th and cracking CAT are totally unrelated issues! Do you think rest of planets were sleeping during those outcomes?
So explore astrology deeply, study few thousand charts, gain your own insights and then throw examples to prove your points.
      Best of luck!

@Kumar, if u dunno anything in astrology, i give u very obvious principle that might satisfy your query.
        1. Saturn is a Malefic planet.
        2. 6-8-12 are malefic houses.
        3. A malefic planet in a malefic house gives good results (we are not considering the other planets and their effects for the time being)
        4. Saturn is a planet of contraction where as Jupiter is the planet of expansion. If saturn is placed in a malefic house, it will contract the malefic effects that house generally famous for. Therefore for considering solely this placement we can say saturn will give good results. Now this was the first step.
We move forward, see house, lordship, placements, degrees and aspects, afflictions and so on till we come to final conclusion about the problem we need answer of.
If u wish to learn astrology, learn it like a well structured course, step by step. Analysing chart comes much much later. First basics like astronomy, constellations, astrological mathematics etc needs to be memorized. Those who try to learn from internet based modules end up in scattered and inadequate knowledge.
        Hope this helps!
