n same sign in D1 and D9 or also in all other charts same position all the time lagna and mercery or other planet is is allways VARGOTHAMA and that is a good and strong position for you, so it is positive even when the house are not the same or in malfic h or dust h, stil good , it will help you to be more clear o n the planet with is invold.

When a planet is in both the rasi and navamsa lagna (house) it means that the planet is very close to the lagna degree (within 3-20 degrees) making it a very influential planet in your life. the closer the planet is to the lagna degree the more varga charts you will find it in the ascendant.
I once did the chart of an aghori that had Rahu directly on his laga degree to the point of having Rahu in the ascendant of all his varga charts. [Maybe he was a being incarnated from the naga realms.]
There is another technique called 'rashi tulya navamsa' where you utilize the interaction of the navamsa sign placement in the rasi chart. -

Navamsa is usually inspected for finding the partner and
we have in tantric systems deities representing secual union
which methaphor for merging of the method & wisdom.
So is it possible to use it to find how male person is finding
wisdom in his life or if it is female how she is putting method
in work.
Hmm...?
Maybe this works only on people who are intrested in moksha,
someway on a level where it is easier to grasp. Maybe it
is with all people like this. Male kan have lots of method but
he dont have any wisdom, so he cant walk on path leading to enlightment,
but are instead wasting his energies to useless actions... -

it will show this for the native and their spouse. -
